Mission Accomplished!!!!

Last summer, when we had to get Colin off dairy, bye went one of his favorite's....Mac-n-Cheese!  It was a huge thing at first, but as time progressed, we just didn't fill the cupboards with anything that contained dairy, that he liked.  So, it got easier!  However, January came and when it was suggested to get him off of gluten, too, our heads started to spin!  We knew we had to do it, but what in the world would he eat....EVERYTHING has gluten!!!  Removing dairy, was much easier!!!  Well, I hit
Google to research and while doing so, I came across dairy free cheese!!!  YEP, dairy free....Instantly, I knew I could get the gluten free elbow noodles, but where do I get this cheese!  It is made in Canada, so is it sold in the states, if so where, is it good???  All these questions flooded my mind, so I hit the ground running w/ a name and called the local stores and sure enough the Nature's Market had it! YAY.....Last Saturday, we were on a mission!

Also, on Saturday, we started equine therapy with Colin.  I was shocked how well he did, but it turned out really well!  He was intimidated at first, it takes him 10-15 minutes to warm up anyway, so it was no surprise he was on overload when we got there.  Seana, his therapist, didn't give up though she let him play in the open arena and that's when he started to warm-up!  We hear great things about this therapy, so we are so happy, she was willing to help our family!  This is truly another "God Thing" for Colin and we are truly grateful. I think we might just have horse lovers!!! I always hear, "man, Colin is a lucky fella having parents like you guys" and yes, that makes me feel good; however, what people don't realize is we are lucky to have him!  It's through this little boy that we are learning what life is really about!  God blessed Brenton and I with 2 little guys, close in age, for a reason and as they grow....I see why!  They will forever be the best of buddies and will have each other!  That does my heart good!

Anyway, last Saturday, was a wonderful family day and we discovered that "normal" could return to our lives again!  Well, a new normal, but nonetheless, a normal....MAC-N-CHEESE is back folks and little man, is in heaven!  It was great to hear "Yum" after eating almost 3 plates full....We are getting there, slowly but sure!  Colin has also discovered that going potty, isn't all that bad either!  He's now getting us to go and what a relief!!!  That was the one thing, I thought we'd never get accomplished anytime soon.....We are on Cloud 9 these days!!

YUM

Seana is the best
