Bring On Summer

Well, 6th grade and freshman year are now in the rearview mirror! Last year, at this time, I was a mess thinking how this year would go for my boys? Both transitioning and just not knowing how it would all go? It made me nervous, even with all the prep we did. Ugh!!! I couldn't kick the sick feeling in my stomach all last summer. So, to be sitting here thinking how great the year actually was, has me smiling! I'm so thankful we're making it. They are rocking it, both in their element, doing what they need to do inching closer to their graduation days. Which, I know will be here all too soon! So, today, as this school year comes to a close, the one that scared me the most, has me feeling such gratitude. I'm grateful for goals met, teachers who care, boys thriving, and for 3 months of summer waiting for us to make memories with in celebration of a job well done. I'm ready! Bring on summer!☀️

Love My Boys

I absolutely adore my boys and love being a mother! I honestly never think of having a special day just for being a mom, but when Mother's Day comes around each year, my guys sure do spoil me! This year, Brenton & I did see our mom's earlier, so I was able to enjoy the entire day w/my guys and it was the best day....

 

It's Official

Spring is upon us and we were so ready for it this year! We've learned to embrace winter, seeing we do live in Ohio, but I'd be lying if I said it doesn't put a little "spring" in our step with the signs of the season change...lol! It's the freshness of it, the longer days, the sunshine, Easter, everything in bloom...all of it brings a smile to our faces! And, it reminds us that we're almost to the end of the school year! We had a great Easter season and Colin turned 13 this spring, too! Yep, 13!!! How did we get here this quick? Yeah, good question, but we sure did have fun celebrating this milestone! What a ham this child is and what joy he brings to our family! We are so looking forward to this next season of life with him. Colin, is officially a teenager, oh my! LOL! Let the fun begin....
