Let's Celebrate...Football Style

What a weekend we had!  By now, you guys know, we are a bunch of "Buck Nuts" and love the Ohio State Buckeyes something fierce, so we go to Columbus a lot!  This past Saturday, we headed back down for the National Championship celebration and what a blast we had.  Ethan, is growing into the shoes that Daddy has prepared for him, b/c he too is now loving the Buckeyes & football, so going to Columbus was something he's been begging us to do.  Well, what better way to break him in!  We've been there before, as a family, but he was too little to remember it and I didn't realize that until we were there on Saturday.  You should have seen his eyes in the stadium...he loved all the hype and was all about yelling O-H to get the response I-O from the crowd.  It was so much fun, but boy was it fricken cold; however, once the team came out and Urban got to the podium the cold was gone from your mind.  That place was crazy! So glad we were a part of it and able to see it first hand!
Well, when you go to Columbus with my husband, you don't leave without seeing the Woody Hayes Athletic Center and since Ethan was with us, it was even more important to show him where the boys practice, their trophies, etc....then it happened, we saw 4 chartered buses pulling in the gate!  Yep, it was the team....THE Ohio State Buckeyes returning to their cars from the event!  Let me just tell you, we were in our glory!  At that point, I looked around, thinking the crowd would be running me over, but there was nobody and I only expected to get pics from a far....never in my wildest dreams did I think that the boys would come over to us!  What were the odds of us meeting our favorite players, it was the best!   This morning, as I sit here typing this, I still can't stop thinking about 1 particular player and that is Josh Perry!  That guy, who can so relate to the journey we are on, took time out of his busy schedule to chat with us about the autism journey he's on with his brother.  It was so good to hear his story, get a picture, and would you believe he started to follow our Instagram page! OMG!!!!  We had such a great time and so many memories were made!
