Faith & Shamrocks

This week has been like living in the twilight zone! The COVID-19 pandemic is here and it's real! I was freaked out at first, when it started hitting closer & closer to home, but it then hit me...when things are beyond my control, turn to the one who can help! That's when it changed for me, last weekend I turned this situation over to Christ and it was instant relief! I can now watch the news and not fear it! I told my husband I'm choosing "Faith over Fear" and I mean it I'm no longer overtaken by this weird place that our world is in right now.

Through all this craziness, it was very important for life to be somewhat normal for the boys. It definitely helped having St. Paddy's Day in the midst of all of this craziness! We love St. Paddy's Day, so we had to still celebrate! There was no question! I got the boy's buckets done, Brenton's little treat in his truck, Katee's gift, and the treasure hunt clues hidden. I was bound and determined to make the day fun, regardless of the world outside of our doors!

I know these days are scary and weird, but reality is we have to be smart, listen to our government, and just hunker down for a little awhile. I love being home anyway, so this "social distancing" thing was really no big deal for me (LOL) and I'm truly embracing it. The boys have been good and getting their school work done, since all the schools are closed during this time of crisis. I'm not sure if they'll go back this year, but we are taking on the "remote learning" like champs.

Overall, it's definitely been a really crazy week in the world, but here at our house we're taking it in stride and embracing the change for now! We're trying our best to live in compliance with all these rules that have been set and choosing "Faith over Fear" to stay sane through it all. Praying for some normal to come soon, but until then here are a few pics from our week.....
