Travel Prep!

Since we leave for vacation in a few days, this past weekend was spent slowly getting everyone ready for it.  I decided to start a little earlier with packing that way I could take my time and not feel rushed.  I printed off my travel checklists and Saturday morning I got started.  I started with a fun project that I've been working on for probably 2 weeks now and seeing it all come together made me smile.  My boys are getting older, so I need to provide them with fun things.  We have TVs in the car, so they do watch movies and honestly, I have been blessed w/ great little travelers; however, I never know what each year can bring, so I always plan for the worst.  This year, I wanted to make sure we have plenty of age appropriate things to do, so I've been collecting things for them and Saturday I had fun combining my collection into a cute little "Travel Binder"!.  Ethan loved the idea of the maps, so he can keep track of all the states we pass through and Colin, I'm not sure if he'll like it or not, but I did put some crayons and coloring sheets in for him, as well.   I'm so looking forward to this vacation!  For some reason, this year especially, I'm needing a break and spending time away w/ my family is music to my ears!
