I know I mentioned this in the previous post, however, I'm going to say it again....Nickelodeon Suites is absolutely perfect! We've had the best time here and holy cow there are so many things to do. The best part, and the reason I picked it, is because there is something to do for both boys at all times. Colin is not a "meet and greet" type of kid w/ the characters, he'll like them from a distance, but would much rather be where the water is and Ethan, well he's all about meeting the characters. Ethan is in heaven here and asked about 20 times, "can we come back" he's got to meet SpongeBob, Sandy, Mrs. Puffs, April O'Neil, and the TMNTs! It is Turtle Mania here at Nick and he's taken full advantage of meeting them at every spot he can! For his birthday, Brenton and I bought him tickets to have a pizza party with them and that we did on Thursday night. What a fun night we had, too! He was too excited to even eat, but was in total serious mode waiting patiently for the show to start. I couldn't have asked for a better time for him, because he truly enjoyed himself. He brought his Leonardo costume, so of course he had to go in full get up and boy did that pay off for him. The show was ending so we were getting ready to head out to go to the pool, when Leo started pointing at our table. We weren't sure why, but then we hear "Hey you, Leo wants to see you at the green screen" through his mask I saw his big brown eyes looking at me and then he says, "Me, Mommy" and I said "yep, Leo wants to meet you"! I grabbed our stuff, paid our bill, and off we were to the green screen. There, Ethan received a private session with his favorite TMNT and was shown ninja moves, how to use his sword, but the best part was Leo gave him a great big hug. There was a photographer there snapping pictures, so she took us down to the place they develop the film and there Ethan received the picture of Leo hugging him w/ Leo's signature. That boy was in heaven the rest of the night and his exact words were, "Leo must have thought I was really special, because there were a lot of kids there and he chose me" and with that, I fell in love with this place even more. I can't say enough about this resort, it's absolutely perfect for our family. I LOVE that both my boys get to do what they want to do and Brenton and I can watch their excitement while doing it. That excitement is why we work so hard....giving them the opportunities to "make their dreams come true" (as Ethan said) is totally worth it!
